We want to grow our board. We are seeking people who:
- Are interested in permaculture (professional and beginner permies are welcome).
- Value equity, diversity, and environmental justice (people with lived experience are especially welcome).
- Are interested in supporting uncolonization initiatives.
- Are skilled in conflict resolution.
Tasks you might help with:
- Doing or assisting with financial reporting (we’re also seeking a Treasurer).
- Organizing and hosting webinars or online events.
- Helping to administer our website.
- Creating content for our enewsletter.
- Reaching out to your own network for collaboration.
- Assisting with IT, financial, or admin tasks.
Commitment:
- Approx 4 to 6 hours per month. 3-year term.
- Attend monthly online meetings (currently 2nd Wed at 5:30pm ET).
- Participation in annual online planning retreat.

Become our Treasurer!
We are seeking people who:
- Are interested in permaculture.
- Value equity, diversity, and environmental justice.
- Are interested in financial management and are detail oriented. (Having experience is especially welcome. However, training will be provided on our simple Google Sheets.)
Our Treasurer:
- Downloads account statements, tracks income and expenses, and reports to the board.
- Deposits checks and sends payment checks.
- Prepares end of year reporting and annual budget (with assistance).
- Prepares MA Corporations Division and Federal Tax filing (may work with an accountant).
- Is part of managing the fiscal sponsorship program (with assistance).
- Provides a physical address for the bank and IRS.
- Helps with other board projects (optional).
- Assists with grant applications and fundraising (optional).
Commitment:
- Approx. 4 to 6 hours per month. 1 year term as Treasurer.
- Attend monthly online meetings (currently 2nd Wed at 5:30pm ET).
- Participation in annual online planning retreat.
